We've got some Grumpy McGrumperson's here that aren't excited about GT.

Well, I’m the polar opposite of that.

I can’t fucking wait for more Clarkson/Hammond/May highjinks. Top Gear could be a little uneven at times, but it was always hilarious, entertaining and beautifully filmed. I’ve missed it so much.

Getting the first episode a day early is like Christmas in November.

I agree. What I loved about Top Gear was that at some point it stopped being a car show and really became a show about three guys who happen to like cars. The interaction of the three of them being around cars in scenic locations is what I watched the show for. This is what I’m looking watching when I get home from work.

I’m gonna watch it and I’m sure it’ll be good but I’m not one who hypes something up to be disappointed when it isn’t the best thing since sliced bread.

Same with the latest series of Top Gear, I went in completely neutral and as a result I was not disappointed by it. It needed work but it was OK.
